We LOVE Green

JJ's favorite color has always been green so St. Patrick's Day is especially fun for him. We hosted a party for his joy school buddies and we had lots of fun. JJ had a great time helping me spray paint rocks gold for the project above.

A Week Ago Today

A week ago today my Mom flew in this helicopter from Logan to Salt Lake.
A week ago today I drove up to be with her.
She is still in the hospital but doing much better, thank goodness.
My family has been through a lot these last few weeks but it really has brought us closer.
I love my Mom.

Bothersome Tags

I have been finding holes on the sides of some of JJ's t-shirts. It didn't take me long to realize he was yanking the tags out from the sides instead of asking for scissors . 

I had a good laugh when I saw this on one of Daddy's t-shirts. Like father like son. :)

I AM a Scrooge!

Okay, so not only am I a Christmas wimp (see older post) but I am also a Scrooge. I keep getting all these wonderful, supercute Christmas cards in the mail and they have ALMOST motivated me to send some myself. The key word here: ALMOST. Maybe next year but maybe not. So stop looking the mailbox waiting to hear from us...this blog is all you're going to get. Merry Christmas!

Sadie is in such a fun...messy but fun stage. She loves to "help," which you know what that means. I find myself giving her a bath to give myself a break from the messes.

She is in the uh-oh phase. Everything is "uh-oh." Love it. Also, she is is LOVE with ketchup. I gave her some taco meat the other night and she kept pointing to the fridge. She knows that is where I keep her beloved "sauce." Silly girl. We LOVE her!

Christmas is NOT FOR WIMPS!

And apparently I am a wimp because Christmas is kicking my butt! I have been reaching for caffeine around dinnertime which is something I never do...so that is a clear sign. If it wasn't for the Christmas party I hosted...I'm not sure I would have had enough motivation to finally finish our Christmas stockings. I am so excited though to have them done!!! I bought the fabric this spring and starting sewing but then I decided to make a few baby blankets in between, you know how that goes...Anyway, I hope all of you are coping better than I am. I guess I'm doing fine...the shopping and wrapping is done so everything else is just extra, right?! Hope you all have a very Merry Christmas!


p.s. Yeah, so I even started a Christmas Tree skirt...that's going to have to wait until next year. I am thinking I will add some more to these stockings too but again...gonna have to wait!

p.s.s Oh and the decor above...I have had since I was probably 14 or 15. It was a young womens project with Karla Coppin for those of you who know her...crazy huh? Whitney, do you still have yours?
